Added at 3:18am — 1,891 notessmthng i think abt often is when i was in bed with a guy i was sleeping with casually & we were discussing what sort of relationship we wanted in the future with other people & i said in a perfect world id have a partner who lived on the same property as me but in a different house & we could come & visit each other as we pleased but live separately. or have a house sectioned with designated rooms, particularly bedrooms (as im an insomniac) & the guy sort of laughed & told me i didn’t want a lover, i wanted a neighbor & he didn’t mean it with any cruelty, he just couldn’t fathom wanting a distance like that but he was right. my perfect lover is my neighbor
